Journalist by training, producer by heart - built for the organized chaos of live audio.
Me llamo Jasmine!
Jasmine Ascencio is a Bay Area audio producer and storyteller who feels most at home in a multitrack session. She came into journalism as a reporter and found her calling behind the scenes, where the real work of shaping a story happens. She produces, edits, mixes, and engineers audio using Pro Tools, Zoom, and Descript, and has reported and produced across every stage of production.
Her work has appeared on NPR, KQED, KALW, KALX, and Business Insider, covering local and national stories rooted in community.
She also extends stories beyond the broadcast, creating and designing social content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube using Canva, CapCut, and Premiere Pro.
